Born and raised in Southern California, Rich spent his youth roaming the hillsides of orange and avocado groves and body surfing California’s beautiful coastline. He picked up his first 35mm camera, a Ricoh, as a freshman in high school. One day he borrowed his dad’s Nikon F2 camera, but somehow he forgot to return it :).

He has used Nikon cameras ever since. But while family and business slowed down his photography, he always had a camera with him. After a successful career as a corporate financial executive, he returned to photography with a deep passion to capture the world’s beautiful landscapes and wildlife. In college he won several awards for his landscape photography. And more recently some of his landscape images were selected as part of national exhibitions. Rich’s favorite words are, “Let’s Go!” I hope to see you on the frontier.
